Hi, I am Claude and welcome to Acts.net.

This topics "Holding on to Our Cross" has 2 books that we will be walking through together.

Acts 1-28, Revelation 1-22

Being with Jesus is one thing. We were without him, and the world loved us. We were doing anything we wanted with no consequences. Now we know God exists. We also know what is right and wrong. That is when you will decide who you want to be with. Which side of the fence is the better one. But you still live in this world. You do not know the world to come. How can you make the right decision? The only thing that you can rely on is your Faith.

In general, the Books of Acts stands for all Christians who took it upon themselves to keep sharing the word of God. In exchange, their life was in jeopardy. Why do you think Jesus is watching from above? He wants to see who is on His side and who is fighting the real fight. From above, you can see your soldier moving and bringing new souls back to heaven, those who were lost in the compound of the devil. The devil can blind people. His job is to stop people from seeing the truth. His career is to find new ways to ensnare you into his lair. He has nothing else to do, and his boss does not care how it is done.

Be careful, the name of the game in those days, is still the same today. Do you think the devil will stop? Not a chance. He will devour you without hesitation. Why do you think there is war. The best place for the devil is to bring people into his lair. These people will kill. They also blinded themselves to one of God's commandments, do not kill. While they are killing, they also kill their soul. If this person dies, then salvation is gone from them. If they have a chance to repent and come to Jesus, then they have redemption.

In the days of Acts, person to person contact was the only way to keep bringing the word of God to the multitude. Why do you think so many Christians have died when they could have fought their way and lived, but they knew that making arms or killing is evil. They had no choice, and today we don't care about salvation. We prefer to disobey God's commandments and move on with life thinking that it does not matter. Jesus is watching from above. When you become part of His family, and the Holy Spirit dwells in you, how do you think Jesus is watching? He has a direct line through your soul. If we deviate from God's way, we are risking losing salvation and eternity with Him.

Do you think that the devil does not know this? Well, here is the latest news on that front. The devil knows this since day one. The book of Acts is about God, not about you. When you come to God's family, you have accepted God as your Master, not an equal, not someone you can modify for your purpose. God is love, and He watches everyone. Those who think they are righteous could be in a world of hurt when they meet their Master.

It is easy to blame others, rather than taking responsibility for your actions. Holding your cross means more than that. It means staying within the boundaries of God's commandments and loving your neighbour as you love yourself. Christians will win the reward when it is time for them to go to their home. The non-Christians will be happy when Christians are gone, and so will the devil. What can the non-Christians do now that the Christians are gone? Well, first of all, the Holy Spirit will also be gone. You will be on Earth, and God won't be here. Will He come back? The answer is yes because Jesus said He would come back to rule. Even in the book of Acts, they knew He would come back. The bible even tells us what will happen when God is away for a time. That will be up to you to search in Revelations and see for yourselves what those days will be like.

So what are Christians to do these days? First, they share their stories with everyone and they show new Christians how to share their stories. The new Christians then go and share their stories with more people. We all praise God and honour Him. The new Christians stay away from the devil, learning how to discern and rebuke him. Learn how to carry your Armour all the time. After a while, that Armour will feel light and extremely strong. Remember that you can not defeat the devil on your own, but God will come and help you, if you ask in Jesus' name. Continue to save people. Continue to pray for everything. Continue to read your bible. Continue to show your friends in Christ that the only way, is God's way. Continue to give glory to God in everything you do. Continue to know that prayer and faith goes hand in hand. Continue to know that God is the Master, and He is the only one who knows the outcome of this worldly and spiritual war.

Never ever stop searching for Him through words, prayers, praise, songs and showing Him who your heart. God loves when we do all these things.

Holding your Cross is what you have to concentrate on. God will be talking to you when you get to heaven. The discussion could be awesome or excellent, that will be up to you right from this moment until you meet Him. I will also have the same thing to do. We are here to help each other, even if it hurts. If we do this with the love of God pulsing through our veins, then there will be no pain, only gain. Imagine yourself going to heaven, and you see God, one on one. How much more can someone ask?

Salvation is for people who have decided from the bottom of the heart, soul, mind, and strength to be part of Jesus family and with that eternal life. If you decided to stay away from God, that is fine, it is your decision.
Please click on this link, so will know what you and others will have to face during the Tribulation.

There is only one way for the Holy Spirit to dwell in you, and there is only one way to get to heaven. That is by accepting Jesus. First, you need to believe in Jesus. Next, you ask Jesus that you want to repent and start anew. Ask Jesus to cleanse all your sins. Reading the words is one thing. Your intention comes from the word through your heart and soul.

Passages from the bible:
Romans 3:10-23, Romans 5:12, Romans 5:8, Romans 6:23, Romans 10:13, Revelation 3:20, Romans 10:17, Matthew 10:32-33

This passage will make your covenant truly part of Jesus:
1 Peter 1:16-25
16 for it is written, "You shall be holy, because I am holy."
17 And if you address as Father the one who impartially judges according to each one's work, live out the time of your temporary residence here in reverence.
18 You know that from your empty way of life inherited from your ancestors you were ransomed not by perishable things like silver or gold,
19 but by precious blood like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb, namely Christ.
20 He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was manifested in these last times for your sake.
21 Through him you now trust in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
22 You have purified your souls by obeying the truth in order to show sincere mutual love. So love one another earnestly from a pure heart.
23 You have been born anew, not from perishable but from imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God.
24 For all flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of the grass; the grass withers and the flower falls off,
25 but the word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the word that was proclaimed to you.

Warning to everyone:
Therefore, Whosoever shall confess Me before men, him will I also confess before my Father which is in Heaven. But whosoever shall deny Me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in Heaven.

The path:
As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Wherefore, as by one men sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. But God demonstrated His love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. For the wages, if sin is death; but the gift of God shall call upon the name of the Lord. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart, men believe unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. Behold I stand at the door, and knock; if any man hears my voice, and open the door, I will come into him and will eat with him, and he with me. So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

The Salvation prayer:
I accept you Lord Jesus as my saviour. I confess that You, Jesus Christ, in my life. I believe You have been risen from the dead. I repent and turn from my wicked ways. You shed Your blood on the cross for my sins. I have been a sinner, and I recognize I can't save myself. Lord Jesus, I trust in you right now to save me from all hellfire and, above all, take me into your Heavenly Kingdom. Thank you for my salvation, Lord. I want the best I can have from You, in your precious name, Amen.
