We have many stories to tell. For Christians, the main story that we have is when we meet Jesus for the first time. The second story that we have in Christ is when the Holy Spirit came to dwell in us. Some Christians had more emotions when talking about the Holy Spirit than others, but the fact remains. We are all blessed for the Holy Spirit to be in us until God calls us home or die.

Wouldn't it be amazing if we could forget all the troubles we had and be in the present? Genesis 41:51, "Joseph named the firstborn Manasseh, saying, Certainly God has made me forget all my trouble and all my father's house." Well, it is possible. We, humans, love to live in the past. We look forward, but since the future is not written down in books, and we can not use it as a point of reference, we look at the past to decide today and hope all will fall in place.

Unfortunately, only a few people with enough knowledge can predict the future but can not guarantee anything. There was one man that was able to ensure the future, and his name was Jesus. He was able to foretell many things that would happen in the near and far future. He did not tell everything to the disciples, and with good reason; just enough to make them realize who he was and where he will be.

What kind of story from the past would you like to talk about. I could give you my story with Christ or the Holy Spirit. I have something better to tell you. Here is a story that I made up, and I hope you enjoy it.

One day this person went to see the doctor. The doctor asked this gentleman, "what do you need?" the gentleman replied, well, I think I am about to die and need some advice. The doctor did not know what to answer, so he said, "when you die, you are going to be in a coffin, and the bugs will eat you up and then you are ashes." The gentleman did not like the answer, so he said to the doctor: "I think there is more to that than you are trying to tell me. The doctor refused to reply again by saying; "when you die, you have no more consciousness and therefore you can not speak, you can not see, you can not ear, so you are dead and ready to go back to ashes." This gentleman still did not like the answer, and now the doctor was more upset that this person was showing. So the gentleman mentions the scenario of the three times fifty percent equals one hundred percent. Well, the first thing the doctor said was, "where did you learn to count?" The gentleman said from the mathematics from the church school, why do you ask?" The gentleman asked one more question; "doctor, do you think that after a death we are done on Earth, and our last place is back in the ground?" and the doctor shook his head up and down.

Well, the doctor added these words to the gentleman; "do you really think that I am going to fall for this calculation of silliness?" The gentleman replied saying; "of course not, you are intelligent, and therefore I can not show you a lie but only the truth, do you like to know?" The doctor took a few seconds and said, yes, I would like to know how three-time fifty percent equals one hundred percent." So the gentleman started by asking for a piece of paper which the doctor gave him. Now the gentleman drew three circles, and each one had the number fifty written beside it.

Right there, the doctor stopped the gentleman and mentioned that how three-fifty percent could ever equal one hundred percent. The gentleman stopped him before he went further and said that the answer was coming. Next, the gentleman put a line between each of the circles and noted that these lines' direction is only one way. We have circle A which is you. Then we have two more rings, and one of them is B, and the last is C. The gentleman added, so far so good, right doctor? The doctor once again moved his head up and down. The gentleman asked the doctor if A is you, where would you like to be in one hundred years, B or C? The doctor did not know what to say, but he asked? "Where is B, and where is C?" The gentleman replied, that is the unknown, but you have to pick, so which one? The doctor was stubborn and asked the same question again. "Where is B, and where is C?"

The gentleman said we only stipulate one of them, but you have to decide based on the stipulation. Are you comfortable with this? The doctor was getting furious and said, "Yes, I would like to know where I am going." So the gentleman told him a tale for B and a story for C. The doctor was not impressed with these two stories and still could not make a decision. Now the doctor asked the gentleman, "what does all this have to do with percentage?" The gentleman replied that "A + B equals one hundred percent. A + C equals one hundred percent. The road always leads you to one of those ends. You are not allowed to come back and start over." The doctor was becoming very agitated. The gentleman noticed his attitude. The gentleman carried out his lesson with no further hesitation.

That is what the gentleman said to the doctor. "In life, we see things that we do not understand, but we take it for granted because we see it day in and day out like birds in the sky. They have wings, and they fly. Why don't we have wings? that is because everyone would want wings. Why does a turtle walk so slow? That is because he has a heavyweight on his back that he tracks around no matter where he wants to go." "Can you please move on with your story?" The gentleman knew when to slow down and when to go further. The gentleman watched the doctor, and his fingers were moving like an automobile and could not stop.

On the other hand, the gentleman was at peace. So the gentleman decided to cut the story short and give the doctor the end he was now searching. "Well, doctor, this is what this story stands for. On one end, you know the ending, and on the other hand, you are on the edge of a thirty-floor building. The moment you made that decision, that moment you will get to your end.

The gentleman told him that either way, something will happen. He can go to B or C. One of them he would know the end, but the other is in the air. Both of those roads do not have enough knowledge to make that decision. Only one thing left to do. The gentleman proceeded with this; "As I mentioned before, you can only go from A to B or A to C. Those roads are your life and where you will end up is up to you. No one can make your decision. Whenever you get to the end of your road, you will have a judgement to face. You can escape neither one. What you can escape is have the proper lawyer." "What lawyer?" asked the doctor. "The lawyer that will be able to get you out of prison. One road leads to the prison, and no lawyer is needed. The other road leads directly to your lawyer, and he will be able to tell you where your new home is."

The doctor was baffled about this story, and he asked one more question: what do you mean prison and a new home?" The gentleman told him about where he can find the perfect lawyer. He said that this lawyer came to Earth and told everyone that he would be their everlasting lawyer and they would be able to see him very quickly." "The doctor had enough and said, "I think this is where I stop listening," The gentleman asked for a few more minutes, and he would stop. The doctor agreed with hesitation. the gentleman then proceeded with his last part of the story. "The lawyer already paid all your fines a long time ago. So when you get to that place, and the judge looks into his book and sees your name, he will have no choice but to let you on your way to your new home. See, the lawyer was Jesus Christ, and the Judge was God the Father." The doctor understood the story and asked where I find this lawyer to go to my new home. He told him how to pray for repentance and that he would accept Jesus has his lawyer in Heaven."

Do you have a story to tell?

The most beautiful gift someone can have. Acts 2:38, "Peter said to them, "Repent, and each one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Wow, you come to God, and He gives you the Holy Spirit. That indeed is the greatest gift someone can give. Does God know how to reward His people? Here is another 1 John 1:9, reads; "But if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous, forgiving us our sins and cleansing us from all unrighteousness."

Here is the perfect road to follow in Philippians 3:13-14; "Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself to have attained this. Instead I am single-minded: Forgetting the things that are behind and reaching out for the things that are ahead, with this goal in mind, I strive toward the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." Look ahead, never look back. Be happy with where you are going and stop looking in the rearview mirror. Stand and walk forward with Christ by your side and the Holy Spirit on the inside. Romans 8:1 reads, "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." We are completely clean once we accept Jesus and repent of our sins. That is the key to Heaven and be with God.

What about Galatians 2:20, which reads, "I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So the life I now live in the body, I live because of the faithfulness of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Luke 9:62, reads; "Jesus said to him, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God. " I just can not imagine why people just do not get it. It is so simple to follow. Let go of the past, take on your new path and follow Jesus. We can not die on the cross. Jesus did that for all of us. Once we are saved, and Jesus knows us, we are in better shape than anyone in this world.

Romans 12:1-2 reads, "Therefore I exhort you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a sacrifice—alive, holy, and pleasing to God—which is your reasonable service. Do not be conformed to this present world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may test and approve what is the will of God—what is good and well-pleasing and perfect." The transformation by the renewing of our mind is something that takes time, and God knows this. God loves

to see that you are trying to change for the person you are supposed to be. On top of that, He is there to guide you in the process. So never feel you are alone. God is there for you and only you. The main reason why God can be everywhere and with everyone at the same time.

Ephesians 4:31-32 says it right; "You must put away all bitterness, anger, wrath, quarrelling, and slanderous talk—indeed all malice. Instead, be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you." That would be the best scenario if we all could be like that. The fact is that we try, and when the other person does the opposite, we get discouraged, and we go into hibernation. If we try harder, it bounces back in our faces. We must do this with prayer and supplication to go through this phase in life in this world. So be patient with one another and try and keep trying.

In Psalm 51:10, David understood how to renew his mind by asking God to guide him. That should be our prayer; "Create for me a pure heart, O God. Renew a resolute spirit within me." A simple prayer means so much.

Isaiah 65:17 did receive that unique word of encouragement.
"For look, I am ready to create new heavens and a new earth!
The former ones will not be remembered; no one will think about them anymore."
See, in the end, all will work out. God has a plan, and we must stick to His plan, not ours. There is no way to do what God does, and we would probably make a mess instead. So do what God is asking you to do and feel grateful that He has given you some responsibilities.

Even Proverbs 3:5-6 Shows you how to do that action in Isaiah 65:17.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your understanding.
Acknowledge him in all your ways, and he will make your paths straight."

Salvation is for people who have decided from the bottom of the heart, soul, mind, and strength to be part of Jesus family and with that eternal life. If you decided to stay away from God, that is fine, it is your decision.

There is only one way for the Holy Spirit to dwell in you, and there is only one way to get to heaven. That is by accepting Jesus. First, you need to believe in Jesus. Next, you ask Jesus that you want to repent and start anew. Ask Jesus to cleanse all your sins. Reading the words is one thing. Your intention comes from the word through your heart and soul.

Passages from the bible:
Romans 3:10-23, Romans 5:12, Romans 5:8, Romans 6:23, Romans 10:13, Revelation 3:20, Romans 10:17, Matthew 10:32-33

This passage will make your covenant truly part of Jesus:
1 Peter 1:16-25
16 for it is written, "You shall be holy, because I am holy."
17 And if you address as Father the one who impartially judges according to each one's work, live out the time of your temporary residence here in reverence.
18 You know that from your empty way of life inherited from your ancestors you were ransomed not by perishable things like silver or gold,
19 but by precious blood like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb, namely Christ.
20 He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was manifested in these last times for your sake.
21 Through him you now trust in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
22 You have purified your souls by obeying the truth in order to show sincere mutual love. So love one another earnestly from a pure heart.
23 You have been born anew, not from perishable but from imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God.
24 For all flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of the grass; the grass withers and the flower falls off,
25 but the word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the word that was proclaimed to you.

Warning to everyone:
Therefore, Whosoever shall confess Me before men, him will I also confess before my Father which is in Heaven. But whosoever shall deny Me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in Heaven.

The path:
As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Wherefore, as by one men sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. But God demonstrated His love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. For the wages, if sin is death; but the gift of God shall call upon the name of the Lord. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart, men believe unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. Behold I stand at the door, and knock; if any man hears my voice, and open the door, I will come into him and will eat with him, and he with me. So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

The Salvation prayer:
I accept you Lord Jesus as my saviour. I confess that You, Jesus Christ, in my life. I believe You have been risen from the dead. I repent and turn from my wicked ways. You shed Your blood on the cross for my sins. I have been a sinner, and I recognize I can't save myself. Lord Jesus, I trust in you right now to save me from all hellfire and, above all, take me into your Heavenly Kingdom. Thank you for my salvation, Lord. I want the best I can have from You, in your precious name, Amen.
